What is Layer Color

The convenient functions introduced this time are Layer color,

You can display the image in a single color.

Set the layer color in the layer property palette.

There are many other functions such as boundary effects, but we will not use them this time.

When you click the rightmost icon in the layer property palette,

Line color changed from black to light blue.

It is displayed in the color set here.

When you change the setting, the display color changes.

You can also change the subcolor.

It changed from white to the set color.

If you use this function, you can change the line drawn in black to light blue and use it as a draft

You can also make it easier to see in one color when tracing a full-color photo.

How can this feature be used to prevent mistakes?

All you have to do is change the layer color of the draft layer in advance.

Now this layer has only light blue color.

Even if you draw in black, it will be light blue.

If you draw with pink, it will be light blue.

 

By doing this, at the moment you draw on this layer

You can realize, "Ah, this is a draft layer," and prevent mistakes.

**Set the type of this layer to [draft layer] in the layer palette.

When exporting with the check mark removed from [Draft] in the [Output image] field in the export settings,

Things drawn on [Draft layer] will not be output.

You won't have to worry about accidentally printing the draft lines.

Here is a set of draft layers that I created.

Light blue for the “light stroke” layer, orange for the “strike” layer,

Green for the “hair” layer, pink for the “clothes” layer,

I set the layer color to purple for the “other” layer.

 

The reason why I divide the layers finely is because I have a lot of draft lines

Because it often ends up in a mess.

Some people may think that one light blue layer is enough for the draft layer.

The materials are distributed here, so please use them.

Notes on writing

The point to note when using layer colors is "Export with the set color".

Export with the pen layer color set to light blue

It will be output in light blue.

Be careful when outputting, such as when drawing monochrome comics.
