Hello everyone, in this occasion I would like to share a tutorial about how to draw jewelry and accessories with Clip Studio Paint. In this tutorial I use 3 tools such as G-pen, Opaque Watercolor, and Soft Airbrush.

Color Palette

Not only that, I put on the gold color palette too.

1. Shape and Base Color

First of all, draw the shape of the jewelry you want with a base color. This time, I will paint a gold necklace. You can draw something different or follow the shape that I've drawn. I use a G-pen to draw the shape.

2. Soft Shadow

After that add some soft shadow with darker color. You can use the color palette that I've given before. The tools that I used are Opaque Watercolor and Soft Airbrush.

3. Hard Shadow

Then, add a darker color for hard shadow in the area which is not exposed to light.

4. Light

This is the fun part. With a light color, add some high light in the area which is exposed to light.

 

5. Shape of Jewel

After that, Draw the basic shape for the jewel. You can draw any shape you want like a star, circle, diamond, etc.

6. Shadow of Jewel

After that, use a darker color to shade the jewel.

7. Light of Jewel

Use a light color to draw the gloss of the jewel. You can use pure white for the lightest part.

8. Final Touch

Finally, use one another layer behind the jewelry for universal shadow. I use a grey color and a filter called Gaussian Blur to make the shadow that I have created from the base shape of jewelry.
