Hello! In this tutorial we will step-be-step draw this cute little girl-vampire hybrid. Using Clip Studio's great features, anyone can do it. We will use basic body shapes and set it up by changing various settings. Then we draw a sketch and main lines, paint with color and improve your mood by drawing better!

1. 3D Body shape

Let’s open Clip Studio Paint and create new project. To do this, click on File -> New, play with settings and click OK.

Now in the All materials go to 3D and find girl’s Body shape. Click it and drag into the canvas. You will see many buttons under the 3D model. Click on wrench button. Then tap 3D drawing figure and and here you can change body shape as you like. Do it and have fun!

After that, you can save new body by clicking “Register material”. Now change the pose of the 3D model and reduce opacity of current layer.

2. Sketch

Create new layer and, using the contours of the 3D shape, draw a sketch.

3. Lines

Create a new folder and move the layers with the sketch and the 3D shape there, reducing the opacity. Then create new layer and start drawing final lines. Increase stabilization for comfort and quality. You can do it in Tool property of your pen.

4. Colors

When the lines are drawn, hide the folder with the sketch and 3D. Create new layers under lines-layer and fill them with color using fill tool. Turn on “Refer multiple”. Use a new layer for each object. One layer for hair, another for skin, wings, clothes and so on.

5. Improvements and details

Now you can look at your beautiful picture as a whole and add various improvements. What could it be? Highlights on the hair, gradients, even a change of some colors, sparkle in the eyes.

I use Airbrush to add some new gradients. Just change Blending mode from Normal to another one and see what would be better.

Wnen I draw eyes, I like to use deep dark shadows and bright highlights. For highlights on the hair, you need to draw highlight lines and blend them with the Blend Tool in Finger tip mode.
