INTRODUCTION

Hello everyone this is Nightshade from BM7Creations. And today I am going to show you an easy way to draw steampunk clothes.

OLD PAPER

For the rustic steampunk aesthetic, add the marble material from the materials tab.

Change it to overlay and set the opacity to 79

GEARS

For drawing gears and clocks, add the ruler tool to the canvas.

Draw using the textured pen tool over the ruler to make the gear.

To make the grooves of the gears use the linear ruler.

By using the lasso tool copy and paste the grooves on the gear.

To prevent overlapping rulers delete the selected ruler from the layer after you’ve drawn the desired shape.

Scale and rotate the grooves to the gear.

BELTS

To make the belts that go on the steampunk character, make connecting slanted rectangles.

For belts that go on hats and pants, you can make them less slanted.

Add three or four belt holes to the belt.

PUT IT TOGETHER

Copy the gear you’ve made and add it to your hat.

Scale it to fit the hat, and rotate it to it’s desired angle.

Color the gear grey, the marble overlay creates the dirt effect seen above.

You can add another gear or two.

Or to fill space create small clocks.
