Hi, I am Awan from Indonesia. Today we gonna talk about POD (Print on Demand). It's really popular lately, the artist goes to POD sites and sells their designs there. POD Site allows you to sell your designs and printed out to the products. People find your designs and purchase some to the products they want. As the artist, you gain money by passive income. All you have to do is build a strong portfolio and make crazy works to get stand out.

 

Let's talk about POD dimension now.

there is many POD site you can try. all you have to do is upload your designs and get costumer attention to getting sells. If you want to make a design for specific products, it's important to know the dimension of every product. Every product has its resolution, so make sure you put the right resolution on the right products.

 

We are talking about good quality printed out, so make sure you full fill the criteria.

I am personally using Clip Studio at the beginning playing POD till nowadays. Clip Studio give everything I need to work on it.

Make Your Design

Of course, The most important thing is having your ready design. In this tutorial, I am using PIG as the main character of my design. I use standard resolution, It's because I want to edit more after the main file ready.

 

Oh ya, the POD resolution site standard setting is about 300dpi, in JPEG/JPG/PNG format depend on each site.

Looks, little bit cute, with an innocent face. lol

The main file is ready, I save it to PNG transparent so if you printed out to the products it'll transparent to the surface of the products skin.

Well, let's edit everything to every products dimension.

It's up to you to make good design as your style by the direct dimension I'll mention in this tutorial. ^.^

APPAREL

I use Premium T-Shirt for example. Here's the whole the dimensions of every product on Apparel products:

1. Leggings: 4350x4032 pixels.

2. Long & Premium T-Shirts: 2875x3900 pixels.

3. Men's Graphic T-Shirts: 3873x4814 pixels.

4. Mini Skirts: 2152x2502 pixels

5. Scarves: 5748x5748 pixels

6. Women's A-Line Dress: 6310x6230 pixels.

7. Chiffon Tops: 3711x3814 pixels.

8. Women's Sleeveless Tops: 3870×4280 pixels.

9. Women's Graphic Dress: 4020×6090 pixels.
