Replacing the Brush Tip Shape from Circle to Image
I drew a taiyaki on a monochrome raster layer.
Drag and drop the layer from the Layer palette to the Material palette.
It has been registered as a layer material.
Double-click the 'Taiyaki' thumbnail registered in the Material palette.
The 'Material Property' palette will appear.
Give it a 'Material name'.
Check 'Use as brush tip shape'.
You don't need to do anything with 'Scaling' and 'Tiling'.
It's convenient to add easy-to-find words in 'Search tags'.
Click 'OK'.
Creating a Taiyaki Brush
Duplicate the sub tool.
Here, we will duplicate 'G-pen'.
Select the 'G-pen' stroke in the 'Sub Tool' palette.
Click the 'Create a copy of the currently selected sub tool' icon.
Enter a 'Name' for the sub tool in the 'Duplicate Sub Tool' palette.
Click 'OK'.
A new sub tool has been added to the bottom of the 'Sub Tool' palette.
Click the 'wrench' icon in the bottom right of the 'Tool Property' palette.
The 'Sub Tool Detail' palette will appear.
Select 'Brush Size' from the left-hand items.
Enter (600) for the brush size value on the right.
This 600 is not the size of the taiyaki, but the range over which the taiyaki will be scattered.
Select 'Stroke' from the left-hand items.
Click 'Fixed', the leftmost of the four spacing icons on the right.
Set the value to (100).
Select 'Brush Tip' from the left-hand items.
For 'Tip Shape' on the right, select 'Material' next to 'Circle'.
Click the blank 'Brush Tip Shape List' below it.
A list of available brush tip shapes will appear.
Select the 'Taiyaki' brush tip shape you created.
The sub tool's stroke has changed to 'Taiyaki'.
(※For some reason, I've selected an old taiyaki image that was almost complete, but never mind.)
Select 'Scatter Effect' from the left-hand items.
Check 'Scatter Effect' on the right.
Set 'Particle Size' to (100).
Display 'Particle Size Influence Source Settings'.
Check 'Random' and set the value to (40).
Display 'Particle Orientation Influence Source Settings' for 'Particle Orientation'.
Check 'Line Direction'.
Also check 'Random' below it and set the value to (90).
(※I made a mistake here, I'll correct it later.)
Select 'Color Change' from the left-hand items.
Check 'Brush Tip Color Change' on the right.
Set 'Hue' value to (-60).
Display 'Hue Influence Source Settings', check 'Random', and set the value to (-30).
Set 'Target of Change' to 'Sub Drawing Color'.
Scattering Taiyaki on the Canvas
Set the sub tool to 'Ruler' > 'Figure' > 'Ellipse'.
Display the grid on the canvas, snap to the grid.
Draw a 'circle' with the ruler.
Draw a circle along the ruler with the 'Taiyaki' scatter brush.
Taiyaki will be scattered across the canvas.
Timeline and Keyframes
Display the 'Timeline' palette.
Click the 'New Timeline' icon.
Set 'New Timeline'.
Frame rate to (24).
Playback time to (10+0) seconds + frames.
Click 'OK'.
Click the 'Enable keyframes for layer' icon on the timeline.
Set 'Keyframe interval' to 'Constant Speed'.
'Add Keyframe'.
A keyframe will be added to the first frame.
Display the last frame of the timeline.
In the 'Tool Property' palette, enter (360) for 'Rotation Angle' under 'Transform'.
A keyframe will be added to the last frame of the timeline.
Drag this keyframe added to the last frame outside the playback range.
Keyframe input is complete.
Exporting GIF Animation
When I exported with a frame rate of (24) fps, it exceeded 10MB,
so I decided to export it at (12) fps.
That's strange...
Messy
I made a mistake in the settings somewhere.
Correcting the Scatter Settings
Click the 'Enable keyframes for layer' icon in the 'Timeline' palette to turn 'Keyframes' 'OFF'.
Display the 'Sub Tool Detail' palette.
Select 'Scatter Effect' from the left-hand items.
Display 'Influence Source Settings' for 'Particle Orientation' on the right.
Set the 'Influence' value for 'Random' to (10).
Also, while I'm at it,
Select 'Color Change' from the left-hand items.
Set the 'Hue' value to (-90).
Display 'Influence Source Settings' and set the 'Random' value to (-60).
Click the 'Enable keyframes for layer' icon in the 'Timeline' palette to finish.
Exporting again.
Complete!
Is the green matcha cream?
Little taiyaki swimming around.
Bonus: 'Pencil Case Great Demon King'
I pasted 'Angel Wings' from the assets.
Content ID: 1358320
The Great Demon King attached googly eye stickers to a pencil case and took a photo.
Both the pencil case and the googly eyes are from a 100-yen store.
Once you've done this, you can apply it to scatter various things.
Please enjoy playing with it.
To be continued in 'Cat's Magic'
