Animation production process flow

The flow of animation production using CLIP STUDIO PAINT is as follows.

■ Cut folder creation → ■ Drawing paper creation → ■ Timeline creation → ■ Drawing work → ■ Export

1. Create a working environment_Load material

In this course, we will customize CLIP STUDIO PAINT to the settings specialized for animation production work before starting video work.

There are four main items to customize.

-[Workspace]: In CLIP STUDIO PAINT, you can register the palette layout, shortcut settings, command bar layout, and unit settings for environment settings as [Workspace]. You can create a workspace according to the work process and work while switching.

-[Template]: [Template] for maintaining and loading the layer structure when creating a cut folder.

-[Auto Action]: You can record multiple operations and execute the recorded operations at once.

-[Command bar]: You can register frequently used tools, menu commands, auto actions, drawing colors, and other functions.

Once this setting is done, there is no need to reset it again.

This time, we will load the [Workspace], [Tools], and [Auto Action] materials distributed for this course.

[POINT] Make a backup of your work environment

If you make a backup of the current working environment before creating the working environment, you can restore it to its original state even if you change the working environment. Use CLIP STUDIO's cloud service for backup.

Launch CLIP STUDIO and click on the cloud bar.

When the Cloud screen appears, click the Back up app settings now block. Click Yes when you are prompted for confirmation.

Your work environment is now backed up.

For information on how to return to your original working environment, see "Restoring Settings" in "Inheriting Settings to a Different Device."
