Make a rainbow brush like a gradient mass (CLIP STUDIO PAINT Pro & EX)

Create sub tool gradient

1)

Copy the sub tool of the gradient tool

Click the "copy icon" under the sub tool palette

I will make a rainbow gradient with a name

A new copy sub tool is added to the sub tool palette

※ If you do not do this, you will make a small failure like this TIPS

2)

Select one of the sub tools on the sub tool palette

Click (-) on the left of the color bar on the tool property palette to display "Detailed Settings" and click

The "Edit Gradient" palette is displayed

3)

Set the gradient color bar

Click the left triangle (node) below the color bar

Make sure the position is (0), set the color radio button to "specified color"

You will be able to set the color of the node, click on the palette just below and set the color (R = 255 G = 0 B = 127) "OK"

continue

Click around 15 of the position of the node under the color bar, check the position and go to 15

Set "Specified color" to (R = 255 G = 0 B = 0)

continue

Click around 25 of the position of the node under the color bar, check the position and make it 25

Set "Specified Color" to (R = 255 G = 127 B = 0)

4)

Click 35 at the node position and set "Specified color" to (R = 255 G = 255 B = 0)

Click 50 at the node position and set "Specified color" to (R = 0 G = 255 B = 0)

Click 65 at the node position and set "Specified color" to (R = 0 G = 255 B = 255)

Click on 75 at the node position and set "Specified color" to (R = 0 G = 0 B = 255)

Click 85 at the node position and set "Specified color" to (R = 127 G = 0 B = 255)

Click 100 at the node position and set "Specified color" to (R = 255 G = 0 B = 255)

5)

Click (0) again at the position of the node below the color bar

Set the opacity number to (0)

Click (100) again at the position of the node below the color bar

This also sets the opacity number to (0)

It is a gradient made in order from the left, but the gradient is inverted

There are four icons below the color bar, click the second icon from the right

The color bar gradation is flipped left and right

Add the created settings to the gradient set

6)

Save the created “Gradient setting” to “Gradient set”

(In the figure, it was done before flipping left and right)

Click the second icon from the right of the five icons listed below the "Gradient set" list

Name the gradient and "OK"

Added to the list of gradient sets

Create brush tip shape

7)

Click "OK" to the right of the "Gradient settings" color bar

The gradation of the sub tool is replaced with the set gradation

(I thought, "Oh!"

Display the tool property palette and check the gradation setting

(Shape is "straight line") (end processing is not "repeat") (drawing target is "create gradient layer") (compositing mode is "normal")

Select "New" from the file menu and create an illustration (1280px x 640px). The canvas is displayed at 100%

Display the Information Palette, shift-click the left edge (X = 0) of the canvas and drag it to the right edge (X = 1280)

A gradient layer is created in the layer palette

Click "Apply mask to layer" in the command bar of the layer palette.

(I just set this to "Create a gradient layer for the drawing target" m (_ _) m)

8)

Gradient layers in the layer palette are masked and rasterized

Drag this layer from the layer palette and drop it on the thumbnail list of the material palette (material palette)

A gradient layer is added to the thumbnail list of the material palette

Double-click the gradient thumbnail added to the material palette

The “Material Properties” palette appears.

Make gradients available as brush tip shapes

Name the material, check "Use as brush tip shape"

It may be a good idea to tag them so that they are easy to find

"OK"

Creating custom brushes

9)

Create a rainbow brush

Select "Decoration" in the tool palette

Since the ribbon was cute on the sub tool palette, I chose "clothing" somehow

Click the small three line icon in the upper left of the sub tool palette

Select "Create custom sub tool" from the menu (Gradient failure does not repeat)

Assign (name) to sub tool

(Output process) is "Direct drawing", (Input / output) is "Brush"

I checked (background color of the icon) and clicked (color display area) to make the color pink somehow

Click “OK” to add it to the bottom of the sub tool and open the “Sub tool details” palette

Select “Brush Size” in the category and set (Brush Size) to 100

Ten)

Select "Brush Tip" in the category and click "Material" in the (Tip Shape) tab

Click on the list where nothing is displayed and find the `` brush tip shape '' of the rainbow gradient you just made

Appeared in the list

(Orientation) to "0"

(This “0” is the value when drawing from left to right, 180 from right to left)

Set the value of (Brush Density) to "100" and click the square to the right to make sure that (Brush Density Environment Source Setting) is checked in "Pressure"

(I express the shade of the rainbow with the pen pressure here)

And

Check the “Stroke” (ribbon) of the category and close the sub tool details palette

"Rainbow ribbon brush" is completed on the sub tool palette

If you check "(ribbon)" of "Stroke" of category, the display of stroke changes to rainbow

It's a moment that feels like a rainbow bridge over my heart

How to use and the direction of the rainbow

This rainbow ribbon brush is designed to draw from left to right

From right to left, set the "Direction" value on the "Tool Property" palette to (180)

in conclusion

The material created in the process of creating with this ribbon brush was registered in "Search for Material".

If you do not understand the meaning even if you read it, or if you want to find out more about Mendo or make it, please use this

(Some of this material cannot be used in CLIP STUDIO PAINT DEBUT)

A rainbow can be hung anywhere
